Salma Hayek is sharing the importance of overall self-care.
The Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress, 56, took to her Instagram to let her fans in on what is most important in life–eating.
She shared this message in a new video posted Feb. 27, in which she is seen sitting at her dinner table donning a golden face mask while enjoying some chicken noodle soup.
“Alright, chicken soup, at the same time Mimi has put this golden mask on me,” she said in the video posted Feb. 27. “This is my first time with a golden mask, and also my first time with the golden mask while having room service because I’m so hungry.”
The video ended with some important advice from Hayek: “Beauty is very important, but eating is even more.”
You can say that again!
“Solo Las latinas lo sabemos , la belleza es importante pero comer también 😅😂😆, me siento identificada 👏🙏😉,” Hayek wrote in the caption which translates to “Only Latina’s know it, beauty is important but eating is also. I feel Identified.”
“You are a GOLDEN goddess! ❤️ It was my pleasure” Mimi Luzon, the skincare specialist who put the face mask on Hayek, wrote in the comments.
“I don’t know what I want more the chicken soup or the mask,” one fan added.
“Omg yasssss queen ! She loves her foods 👏👏👏👏🙌,” another fan weighed in, hyping up the actress.
In 2015, Hayek revealed to Elle what her secret ingredient was to looking young–and no, it isn’t botox.
“I use an ingredient called Tepezcohuite that’s used in Mexico for burn victims because it completely regenerates the skin, and there’s no one in the States who is using this ingredient except for us,” she said at the time. “Some of the ingredients, when I took them to the American labs, they were like ‘Oh my god! How come nobody is using this?’ This is why I have no Botox, no peels, no fillings.”
Now she is 56 and looks as young as ever!
