Mila knows how to stand up for herself! Her amazing reaction to the whistle in her address
Mila Kunis is promoting her new film, Luckiest Girl Alive, which will be released on Netflix later this month. She stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live for an interview as part of her tour, and the audience was surprisingly hostile to what she had to say.
Her opinions were not about politics, and she did not tell any stories about committing crimes, but she managed to stir up so much controversy that she was nearly booed out of the studio.
Kunis began the segment by telling a story about having to wear children’s leggings cut into underwear because she had forgotten her own panties. This prompted Kimmel to say, “You appear to be a New Yorker, but you’re not a New Yorker.”
Being a non-New Yorker appears to be a serious offense, as someone in the audience began to boo. Kunis kept the conversation going by revealing that she is from Ukraine, which she frequently discusses.
She then talked about moving to the United States and eventually visiting Queens in New York, where she tried her first Coca-Cola and then ate her first burger.
“Did you have pizza for the first time in New York?” Kimmel continued.
When she admitted, “No, I did not have pizza in New York, but my dad delivered pizzas growing up, but in LA. Guys, LA has excellent pizza!” It elicited even more boos.
If New Yorkers are upset because you are not from New York, they will be even more upset if you praise Los Angeles pizza.
To quell the boos, Kunis retorted, “You know what?! For you, I’m dressed in children’s underwear.”
“There’s more to this story — just to get another boo,” she continued.
It was from Domino’s.”
Obviously, there are more boos. Kunis, clearly aware that she would never win over the audience, declared that she despises pizza. It’s better to be truthful.
